Serena Biagini
Serena Biagini, born in Sassuolo (Italy) in 1983, is an artist who uses photography, both analogue and digital, as a tool to explore the mystery of the human condition and to interpret stories connected to her own experiences.
The elements of nature, such as water, animals and the body, become a sort of staging of ancient emotions ranging from defense, transition, identification and the search for freedom, unconsciously recreating a repeated act of rebirth that from time to time takes new forms and shades.
Nature, bodies, water, self-portraits, become spaces and places of interpretation through which it is easier to talk about emotions that otherwise would not be able to come out.
Therefore, the creative act becomes an attempt to regain possession of the primary needs of a human being, and of denied vulnerability, trying to re-design a desired path, which starts from the womb, and goes through various stages of growth, in the continuous search for one’s own identity and position in the world.
She also combines authorial research with commercial works.
Serena Biagini, nata a Sassuolo nel 1983, è un’artista che utilizza la fotografia, sia analogica che digitale, come strumento per sondare il mistero della condizione umana e per interpretare storie legate al proprio vissuto.
Gli elementi della natura, così come l’acqua, gli animali e il corpo, diventano una sorta di messa in scena di emozioni antiche che spaziano dalla difesa, alla transizione, all’identificazione e alla ricerca di libertà, ricreando inconsciamente un atto ripetuto di rinascita che di volta in volta prende forme e sfumature nuove.
La natura, i corpi, l’acqua, l’autoritratto, diventano spazi e luoghi interpretativi attraverso i quali è più facile parlare di emozioni che altrimenti non riuscirebbero a venire fuori.
Dunque, l’atto creativo diventa un tentativo di riappropriarsi dei bisogni primari di essere umano, e della vulnerabilità negata, cercando di ridisegnare un percorso desiderato, che parte dal grembo materno, e attraversa svariate fasi della crescita, alla
ricerca continua della propria identità e posizione nel mondo.
Abbina inoltre la ricerca autoriale ai lavori commerciali.
